Privacy Policy

Personal Data is processed in strict compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and/or any legislation regulating, amending, or replacing said legislation, collectively referred to as the Personal Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the RPDP).
Personal Data is obtained for the purposes of:
a) The activity of a wholesale travel agency;
b) Providing services requested by the user to those involved in the reservation/service contract;
c) Managing, administering, providing, expanding, and improving the services for which the user chooses to subscribe and register, or adapting these services to the user's preferences and tastes.

Making reservations requires the data subject to provide personal identification information, as well as information related to their personal preferences, special circumstances affecting them, and other information related to Frequent Flyer cards or other information. This information will be used to facilitate and enable the contracting and reservation of specific services that comprise the subject's request, and also to provide information regarding Freitas Turismo Group products and services.
For security reasons applicable to certain countries, flight reservations must include, in addition to the traveler's name, information such as passport or ID number, gender, age, and nationality. This information contained in the reservation may, under applicable law, be accessed by the customs authorities of the countries of origin or destination.

Furthermore, the data subject expressly consents to the disclosure of his or her personal data to:
a) National and international authorities competent in matters of tourism, terrorism, or crimes that violate human rights;
b) Any legal entity affiliated or controlled by the Freitas Group or the company that provided the contracted service (hotels, water, land, rail, air transportation, rental companies, etc.), so that they may use said information for the proper provision of each service requested by the data subject.

At the time of collecting Personal Data, except in fields otherwise indicated, the data subject, or third parties duly authorized for this purpose, may voluntarily provide Personal Data. Failure to provide Personal Data will not imply a reduction in the quality or quantity of the corresponding services (unless otherwise indicated). However, failure to provide data considered mandatory will result in the inability to access the service for which the data was requested.

The Freitas Turismo Group may disclose user information to third parties solely for the purpose of completing the requested reservation and for administrative reasons, in accordance with current legislation for travel/services to certain countries.

Any data collected will be transmitted, in accordance with the provisions of the RPDP, to the entities involved in contracting the required services, to the extent absolutely necessary to complete the reservation/service requested and to comply with the legislation of the destination countries.

In no case will information regarding philosophical or political beliefs, party or union affiliation, religious faith, private life, racial or ethnic origin, or data related to health and sexual life, including genetic data, be requested.

The Freitas Turismo Group, upon accessing any personal data, undertakes to:
1. Safeguard it using legally required security measures of a technical and organizational nature that guarantee its security, thus preventing its alteration, loss, processing, or unauthorized access, in accordance with the current state of technology, the nature of the data, and the potential risks to which it is exposed;
2. Use or apply the data exclusively for the purposes duly specified;
3. Ensure that the data is handled only by employees whose intervention is necessary for the provision of the service, and that they are bound by the duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If the information may be disclosed to third parties, they must maintain due confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.

Any personal data that their owners, or third parties duly authorized to do so, may disclose to the Freitas Turismo Group will be understood as obtained, processed, and transmitted in strict compliance with the RPDP.
By providing their personal data, the data subjects, or duly authorized third parties, declare that they authorize and consent to the processing of such data by the Freitas Turismo Group for the purposes of facilitating and enabling the contracting and reservation of the specific services that comprise their request.

The Freitas Turismo Group declares and warrants that it has implemented, is equipped with, and will continue to implement the necessary technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the security of the personal data provided to it, aiming to prevent its alteration, loss, processing, and/or unauthorized access, taking into account the current state of technology, the nature of the data stored, and the risks to which it is exposed.

The Personal Data provided is incorporated into/saved in a computer application owned by the Freitas Turismo Group. Access to the information on file by Freitas Turismo Group employees is only possible by entering access passwords, and the record is kept. Changes to existing data in the files are possible, and a record of the date and user code responsible for the change is kept. Personal Data is processed with the legally required level of protection to ensure its security and prevent its alteration, loss, processing, or unauthorized access. Data subjects are aware and accept that Internet security measures are not impregnable, considering the state of technology.

Personal data will be retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was processed and/or, depending on its nature, for the period to which the Freitas Turismo Group is required by the relevant tax authorities.

The Freitas Turismo Group guarantees data subjects the right to exercise their legally provided rights of access, rectification, cancellation, or objection.
